I don't remember: are trac plugins trac-instance specific or

Depends on how you install them and how trac is set up. If you install
it to the main python it's for all instances, if you install it in an
instance then it only applies to that one. Multi-project setups, not
sure if all projects would share or not.

it to the main python it's for all instances, if you install it in an
instance then it only applies to that one. Multi-project setups, not

Afterthought, even if it's installed for all it won't be loaded until
you include it in the trac.ini for the instance you want to use it in.
So it should be safe to install in general.
