[SAC] Request to block LDAP user and clean web site.

Hi,

Which we do not really need.

Is there a regular process to manage this, write a trac ticket, or is
there another easy way to block and remove this with regular Drupal tools?

Thanks,
Arnulf

...ok, I found the delete button in Drupal (right at the bottom). I did
not delete it yet so you can check the link.

This just leaves removing the user.

Thanks,
Arnulf

I'm wondering if there is a way to stop spammers with Askimet or
simila rintegration.
There is Askimet module for Drupal, though I have no idea what it
protects really.
I have experienced Askimet making 99% spamproof Wordpress sites.

Best regards

Folks,

It was my understanding that only specially authorized folks
could create Drupal content - not just everyone with an LDAP
account. I'm quite surprised at this issue.

Unfortunately I don't know the details. Possibly Wolf or
Tyler can give more information?

Best regards,

There are two catalog systems on there, one for "library" and
another for "educational" content. They are set so that only
authenticated users can contribute. How else could we enable
that we the goal is to have membership broadly contribute?

I would like to see an email confirmation step at least in the
LDAP registration process - I think it would also help weed
out some more bots - though certainly not all. Aside from that
then some other sort of captcha too which I thought was
running already too.
