[SAC] Static File Content Updates

For our static file content on fdo.osgeo.org and mapguide.osgeo.org are we still supposed to update the content via SVN? This is stuff like our auto-generated doxygen API reference. How does this stuff then get propagated to the web server? Does someone need to do a "get" on the server?

Would it be better just to give designated individuals on the projects FTP/SCP access for uploading this content?

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

I can setup a cron job to do svn updates of this material on a frequent
basis - perhaps hourly?

I think SAC's intent is to limit the number of shell accounts on the main
peer1 server.

If you would like me to setup the crontab then please file a ticket assigned
to me "warmerdam".

I assume we are mainly talking about /var/www/html/files/{fdo,mapguide}/docs?

Best regards,
