in order to catch up with open security issues and also to get an idea
of how the Trac/SVN stuff is supposed to work (because those who did
have left), I've started to perform an incremental "dist-upgrade" on
the Trac/SVN VM.
Please let me know if I broke anything.
Cheers,
Martin.

The site should be running again - on Debian Squeeze (6.0).
By accident (mistake) I also upgraded Trac from 0.11.7 on Python2.5 to
1.0.5 on Python2.6 and PostgreSQL from 8.3 to 8.4. I'm sure I broke
something, but at least the Trac pages which are listed on:

points apparently to svn.osgeo.org and no trac is visible...
I see - checking,

Might be fixed now - the usual VirtualHost confusion finally broke
after migration
While I was at it I also moved the Trac/Subversion Apache configs into
a more suitable place, tests and more reports appreciated.
Thanks for the hint, at two o'clock in the morning I was simply too
tired to encounter this issue,
Martin.

I like your accident! Thanks a lot, upgrade to Trac 1.x was my long

Hehe, you're fixing 'my' GRASS issues, I try to cure your Trac
crisis
While we're at it: Are we now in a position to integrate GIT with Trac
1.x ?

Note that administering/configuring/migrating Trac is almost completely
new to me, therefore you might still encounter issues in places I don't
even know they exist. Therefore I'd rather keep the ticket open until
the dust has settled.
Cheers,
Martin.

Ok, I didn't know about that one, should be fixed now. I'll check if I
can find more of this sort,

I'm concerned that the upgrade may have broken the email notification
support for ticket changes. This used to depend on a custom
integration with LDAP described in:

Frank feel free to try and fix that. You probably know more about it.
Thanks,

To simplify future upgrades, can we have the respective diff (and
others, if there are more of this sort) included as an attachment into
the ticket ?

The adjustment needed is to make OSGeo userid's work for email
notifications. I think the distinction is that the grass list is
being cc:ed by it's regular email address rather than via the OSGeo
userid lookup.
I'll try working on it tonight.
Best regards,
Frank

I suspect that is why it is broken. If you would like, I could try
and restore this capability.
Frank, this would be most welcome.
Ah, now I realize that trac messages do reach the grass-dev list, so
the issue is solved.
