Hi gang,
I'm trying to make a vhost for "conference.osgeo.org" by adding a file to /etc/httpd/conf.d/hosts on osgeo1. When I do it, it loads the conference site tool just fine and httpd doesn't complain during a configtest.
However (a big however) it takes over all the other osgeo website domains - i.e. www.osgeo.org then shows the conference site tool! So I had to remove that conf file obviously.
Would someone have any clues to help me on this? My configuration is pretty simple, though obviously wrong...
<VirtualHost conference.osgeo.org:80>
ServerName conference.osgeo.org
DocumentRoot /var/www/ocs2/htdocs_2.0.0-1
</VirtualHost>
/me waits for someone to talk about this as part of wildcard curse ![:wink: :wink:](/images/emoji/twitter/wink.png?v=12)
I don't have any answers for you, but....
Wouldn't this be a good candidate for osgeo2?
Jason

I think hobu has got me straightened out now.
If there is a general strategy for distributing apps, I don't mind moving to osgeo2.
