[SAC] xblade14-2

xblade14-2 (marsctl1.sdsc.edu) seems to running fantastically slow.

I'm not sure what's amiss, but I've had one successful login in the
past 24 hours. I'm not sure if it's trying for some reverse DNS
lookup, or it's just process overloaded.

Can somebody look into this for us please?

Matt,

The NFS mounted /home disk has been having problems because the system
serving it keeps hanging unexpectedly. John has kicked it again.

There are times I am dubious about our dependence on the NFS mounted /home
which seems to be a major source of problems.

Best regards,

Seems to be having problems again.

Well done, although I'm guessing the home directories are lost for good?

Matt,

I have remounted /home on xblade14-2.

If you need to do so yourself just do:

  cd /
  sudo mount /home
