Prabhat:
Check your entries in the $GISBASE/etc/monitorcap file and
accordingly the fifo's need to be created (using 'mknod -p') in the directory $GISBASE/dev
Could you also include a brief text from the error message ? That
would help a whole lot in giving you any further directions.
