Tell us about yourself

Hello everyone! I’m based in Tokyo, Japan, and I work in satellite data analysis and geospatial processing. I also write beginner-friendly articles and introductory books on these topics. An introductory book on satellite data with QGIS is also scheduled to be published by Kodansha.

What do you want to learn / contribute

I’d like to learn more about integrating satellite data with GIS data.

I’ve open-sourced the code from my book that explains SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite data, which can be a challenging topic for newcomers:

I’ve also developed and released a QGIS plugin (currently in beta) to make interferometric SAR (InSAR) analysis more accessible:

I’d love to contribute to making remote sensing and satellite data more widely used within the GIS community.
