2) For what types of projects do you use GRASS?
Primarily display of spatial data for use in operational flood
forecasting.
3) Why do you use GRASS?
a) public domain; best use of limited funds
4) Does GRASS functionality meet your GIS needs?
a) Yes
5) What operating system do you use?
a) A variation of commercial Unix on a _HP____ (SUN, etc.) computer.
6) What is your organization's future plan for GIS?
b) Continue with GRASS and develop applications (scripts/code)
Is there a difference between data (or data header files) used in GRASS
4.0 versus 4.1?
If so, is there a conversion program?
Vector as well as raster data?

Dear friends,
I feel that we all do not care at all about how and when each of us found
GRASS. May be I could be interested in a resume of the survey.
Please, send the answers to the survey promoter and not to the
list/newsgroup.
As someone noted few days ago, the list seams to be out of control.

Hi,
I don't have the final word on this, but there were changes between 3.0 and
4.0. I'm unaware of changes between 4.0 and 4.1- the only possibility may be
changes that exist due to the floating point option. Rick
