I have a pdf of a survey that is not for survey purposes, just a concept plan. I am trying to create an image on QGIS that follows the boundary dimensions and change the building layouts on that plan to come up with variations of that concept plan. Any direction to videos or steps to take for myself, a new user, to follow.
Do you have anything in the plans you can use as Ground Control Points? If so, you could convert the PDF to an image and use the Georeferencer Tool to put your image on the canvas and trace what you need.
