My friend and I spent a couple months building an AI segmentation plugin for QGIS.

When we tried to do segmentation in QGIS, there was either manual digitization
which takes forever if you have a lot of elements, or some plugins that were
really hard to install and needed a big GPU.
So we built it to be one-click install, work on all OS and QGIS versions,
and run fully on CPU in real time, accessible to anyone.
Concretely you can use it to segment buildings, roads, vegetation, water bodies,
agricultural parcels… anything visible in your raster data. Click an object,
it detects and outlines it instantly.
17,000+ QGIS users downloads it already that’s so cool,the plugin is free and open source.
To install: open QGIS > Plugins > Search “AI Segmentation” > Install
